Matthew Rooney added a 7th place at the EJU Top Junior Tournament in Prague 1.8.09 to his Bronze medal in EJU Junior Portugal earlier in the year.  Despite being in only his first year as a Junior his recent results have qualified Matthew to represent Ireland in the forthcoming Junior European Championships in Yerevan, Armenia next month.

Lisa Kearney returned to competitive action after an enforced 18 month break, with a Gold medal triumph in the -23 Spanish Open in Alicante.  The tournament was a perfect preparation event for her involvement in next months GB World Cup.
